Linking national, regional, educational and academic bodies

IFN holds regular meetings for member National and Regional Inter Faith Organisations and Educational and Academic Bodies. In recent years, these were usually held together as a combined category meeting.

This reflects the importance of work to increase religious literacy and skills for inter faith engagement in the programmes of both types of organisation. Following feedback, it had been planned to switch to holding one joint meeting and one meeting for each category separately per year from 2024.

The meetings enable sharing of news, updates and good practice, as well as offering opportunities to reflect on key issues and share experiences. They also reduce duplication of work.
